Hello, and a warm welcome to Discovery Tutors where I, Di, and my team, provide you with a professional yet inspired service.

With 28 years of educational experience, I have taught in a variety of Norfolk and Suffolk schools, always with enthusiasm and commitment.

If you are looking for high quality maths tuition for Key Stages 2, 3 or 4, 11+ or 13+ entrance exams or GCSE, you have come to the right place – as the first choice for tuition in the Diss area, we offer 1-2-1 tuition to support students.

In addition we now offer GCSE English tuition and hope to extend our offering to include science and other subjects in the near future.

We tutor in person, at Palgrave near Diss as well as online and currently (December 2020) have 7 tutors available in order to meet demand for tuition.

Typical students include:-

• Key Stage 2 children
• Year 6 children preparing to take SATs
• Year 5 children hoping to take 11+ entrance exams for independent schools
• Key Stage 3 (Year 7 up to Year 9) students
• Key Stage 4 (Y10 & 11) students studying for GCSE maths or English
• Post 16 students (including adult learners) needing to pass functional skills maths, GCSE maths or GCSE English.
• Home educated children from age 7 up to GCSE

If you are looking for a high quality tutor, don’t look any further than Discovery Tutors. I used some other (not so good) local tutors before finding Di Grantham and her team, who have been absolutely brilliant. The reason that Discovery Tutors have more students going to them than any other tutor in the area is because they truly care about the children (and adults) that they work with. Not only that, they offer a professional service – these tutors really are professional tutors as opposed to those who ‘sprung up’ during the Covid lockdowns, preying on parents desperate to help their children. Another thing that sets them apart from other tutors is that being a team of tutors, they offer more than one subject and different age levels.

Di (Miss G to my boys) is kind, caring and understanding (my boys words not mine).
From my prospective she is professional, knowledgeable and approachable.
She has taught my boys for the last 2 years and has built their confidence and ability enabling their test results to soar.

My youngest son is a processing dyslexic, he is achieving full marks results in all his maths tests which is helping him to finally feel like he can achieve things.
Di is DBS checked and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to teach anyone’s child, teenager or adult.
