Hello and welcome to Concours Classics.

Hi, I’m Arthur and I own and run Concours Classics. I am one of very few ‘youngsters’ dedicating my life to producing the art of bespoke classic car body and paintwork restoration. I’ve always lived and worked locally, having years’ of experienced based at Woodbridge Classic Cars in Hatcheston as their head of preparation and paint.

I’ve had the pleasure of being responsible for multiple high-end restorations, some of the few are including cars such as;

• a beautiful 1959 MGA owed by Alex Tarry (owner of Best Of Suffolk in Aldeburgh)
• a stunning 1950’s Ford Popular Kit Car owned by Julian Faithful, built by Cretingham Crank Company, one of thirty in the world.

In comparison a very different project was a 1966 Racing Boat called Timoa, owned by Andrew Gilmore (highly recognised in the vintage boat racing world), I was responsible for the vast amount of the preparation work on Timoa before she went to Levington Martina to have her paintwork completed, and she is now ready to make her voyage at the ‘Round the Island’ race in the Isle Of Wight.

Since the closing of Woodbridge Classic Cars in October last year I’ve setup self-employed at High Elms Farm just outside Pettaugh continuing my passion for the trade.

As long as it’s over 25 years old we’re interested. The passion for this kind of work is dying amongst the generation of today and I feel responsible for keeping it alive.

We dedicate ourselves at Concours Classics to sharing the same love and passion our clients have for their projects.
